I am an Austin based wedding and portrait photographer specializing in the "photojournalistic" style. I love life and I try to show that in my art. My goal is to do as little choreography as possible and be there for the moments that are real and the moments that count. It is raw, natural emotion that make the best photographs. I want each photo to tell a whole story, not just a moment in time.

But... I am first and foremost a husband to an incredibly gorgeous woman. Robin is sweet and strong, hard-headed and soft-hearted. She is for a lack of a better word, my hero. I could not have inspiration without her in my life.

Next in line, and not ever far behind, are my twin loves. Estlin and Olivia are the product of an amazing love. They are vivacious and affectionate. They are my best friends.

After photography, my next biggest passion is cooking. I also have a never ending itch for traveling. I got this from my wife. I want to see the world and photograph it all. I want to eat from the street vendors in Thailand and drive down the Romance Road in Germany. I want to learn Italian and eat REAL pizza. These are just a few of the things that I want to do before I die. Right now I am just taking everything in. I want to LIVE my life and photograph it.

A sincere artist is not one who makes a faithful attempt to put on to canvas what is in front of him, but one who tries to create something which is, in itself, a living thing.
